Wrestling
Wrestling is a class based around taking your opponent from a standing position to the ground in a Jiu Jitsu or MMA context. This class is for all levels of skill.
Wrestling classes are taught every Monday through Friday at 10am. There is also a Beginner Wrestling class on Sundays at 10am.
The Ben Eddy Experience
The Ben Eddy Experience is a class led by Ben Eddy, a first degree Black Belt under Eddie Bravo and one of the world’s best Rubber Guard practitioners. This class is for those who have trained for at least 6 months OR have a good understanding of Jiu Jitsu fundamentals.
Ben teaches every Monday though Thursday at 4:30pm.
Leg-Locks
Leg-locks are attacks on the foot, ankle, or knee of an opponent. This class goes into depth on both offensive and defensive leg-locking technique.
Leg-lock classes are taught every Friday at 4:30pm and Saturday mornings at 8am.
Rubber Guard
Rubber Guard is a style of guard invented by Eddie Bravo, the founder of 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu.
Rubber Guard is taught as part of the Ben Eddy Experience as well as every Tuesday morning at 10am.
Women’s Jiu Jitsu
WJJ is a Female-Only Jiu Jitsu class taking place twice a week at 10PATX. Join our female students and instructors for 60 minutes of technique and drilling.
WJJ classes are taught every Monday and Wednesday at 5:30pm.
Veterans Jiu Jitsu
VJJ is a free class for Veterans, Active Duty Military, and First Responders.
VJJ is held every Wednesday at 12:30pm on the 10PATX mats.
10 Round Tuesday/Open Mat
During 10 Round Tuesday and Open Mat, the Grappling mats are used for rolling (sparring) with a timer for rounds.
Intro to MMA
Intro to MMA is for students with a fundamental understanding of both Striking and Grappling looking for a class to help them combine the two skill sets.
Intro to MMA takes place at 5:30 on Mondays, 4:30 on Tuesdays, and 5:30 on Fridays.
Women’s MMA
WMMA is a female-only session of MMA work. Join a group of other female students to combine your striking, wrestling, and Jiu Jitsu skills!
Women’s MMA meets as a team for 90 minutes every Sunday at 9am.
Muay Thai & Kickboxing Sparring
Sparring for Kickboxing classes takes place Wednesday at 6:30pm and for Muay Thai classes on Sunday at 11am.
Open Mat
Students are welcome to jump rope, shadowbox, hit the bags, and otherwise use the striking mats appropriately during listed Open Mat times.
Students are not allowed to hit the bags while a coach is instructing either Jiu Jitsu or Striking class.
